Shamelessness Alert!

Just felt like having an entry filled with pictures of mine... hahaha... i'm not denying that i'm a narcissist =P

These pictures were carefully selected from my many albums over the past few years during one of my procrastinating moments, showing me as me - silly, silly, and totally silly...

Beware, and leave this page... if you're not prepared to be bombarded by shameless pictures of me and my lovely ones...hahaha...

p/s. I'm proud of the pictures below, as they are pure masterpieces, mostly inspired by my random yet creative juices, and beautifully portrayed by my fellow partners-in-crime... awww.....

Let the cameras roll~

-The End-

And that would not be the last of it... Stay tune for more randomness and wackiness... huhu...
Ok.. This is a short post...

I just felt like saying this out...

For the first time in my life... after having a good share of friend's betrayal instances, I realised that I am disappointed with a friend of mine.. to the extent that I do not care anymore...

She did not betray me.

She did not ruin my life.

She did not abandon me.

BUT, she took me for granted.

She told me she hated most when her friends only contact her in times of need. Yet that's what I am experiencing now.

She told me she hated most when her friends exclude her completely from their lives. Yet that's what I am experiencing now.

She told me she hated most when she has been taken for granted. Yet, there's no other word better to describe what I am experiencing now.

I wish you all the best. But do not expect me to cry and beg you to be part of my life again.

Glamming up to meet the GG

Ok... Finally, I can declare that I'm free! Even just for 1 month, this feeling is rather indescribable... The ability to catch a breather after such a long and tough run (still in constant denial of the many procrastination efforts and detours taken), is mere bliss... =)

As I have basically neglected my humble blog for a significantly long period of time, and could render thoughts that the blogger has been kidnapped and sold to the underground market (influence of the movie Taken)... err... maybe not... I have decided to come out with a whole string of entries... just to make up of my previous absence, as well as putting down my thoughts before they become misty and lost in one way or other...

Enough of talk, let's get onto the real stuff... @_@

On the 3rd of June, I was able to step into the exclusive Northern Club... founded since 1869, a social club for politicians and well-respected businessman and professionals where briefcases are left closed and business talk is confined to private rooms.

It is so exclusive, many people (commoners like me) did not even know of its existence, as it doesn't even have a signboard and is covered with vines and flowers... I used to thought that it was an abandoned haunted mansion...@_@

Well, the reason I was able to have the opportunity to even taste the signature Northern Club sandwiches and wine was because the Breakfast Club of AUT hosted an event, which was graced by the presence of the Governor General of New Zealand; and I went as L's partner.

To be honest, I wasn't as excited about it as I should perhaps be. Below are the many reasons.

1. Nothing in my closet screams appropriateness for the event. (At least it gives me a reason to shop??? hehehe)

2. I don't do business talk. (according to Wira, all we need to do is to look pretty... ok.. advice taken)

3. I don't know and don't really care about the Govenor General. (Well, I don't even know who was the prime minister of NZ until they have to re-elect a new one... @_@)

4. I don't drink. (Throughout the whole event, I had a sip of the white wine, made a face, passed the glass to L, had orange juice instead... 2 glasses of that... and they taste awesomely good).

5. I know I will feel out of place. (True enough, only Wira and I had nothing whatsoever to do with Business.... @_@)

Well, on the good side, I can proudly say that I rubbed shoulders with some big shots
whom I don't think I would even recognise in the future, had lovely pictures taken, and had a opportunity to doll up... It is a once in a lifetime experience.

Will just let the pictures do the talking for the rest of the entry...

Rummaged through shops and boutique looking for something decent, affordable, yet looks comparable to the branded stuff walking around in that cocktail party..tough feat)

Finally settling for a black dress.. accessorized with a gold belt...

and some make up, and hair curling... I'm ready!

Since we were early, we cam-whored around the grand winter ballroom...

and some more shots after the GG gave his speech...

But it seems like we were the youngest bunch... and the only ones flaunting our cameras and posing for pictures... even some of the reporters requested to have our pictures taken... too bad they didn't come out in the papers when we checked... In fact, only the GG's photo was shown... such cheapskates...bleh Lol...

It was quite an experience~

yada yada yada

Haven't been updating my blog recently... well... posting meme and pictures of me being a 'stressor' do not quite count ;)

and I have just finished my assignment in less than 3 hours! A personal record that calls for celebration and a little splurge of indulgence... hehehe...

Though one hurdle is over and off my shoulders for now... there are many more to come~ well, as the saying goes 'cheong meng kung fu cheong meng zoe' (translation: we have a long life to work things out), I shall spoil myself with some form of relaxation~ blogging while waiting for my Romance Zero episode 5 to finish streaming *pure delight*

The past week has been rather eventful~ assignments, dates, mentoring, school observation, MATES lunch and meeting, Wira's party, worship leading in Life Group etc... a whole just week passed by... just like that...

Maybe because I'm getting older *hmm*, I started to be more appreciative of each passing day, of each living moment, and of each breath I breathe...

*dang... I am talking like an old woman now.. @_@''' *

pictures taken during School Observation at Avondale College

Am I even making sense now? Hahaha.... Apparently not... Ok, the 1 hour video is only 17 % loaded... Hence I shall continue squabbling...Lol...

Oh yeah, yesterday was supposed to be Teacher's Day in Malaysia. To the two greatest teachers of my life - daddy and mummy, Happy Teacher's Day! The both of you were never short of an inspiration for me: I am where I am today because of your never-ending love and care for me, your insightful teachings and advice, and your constant belief in me~

And to all teacher-trainees and educators (or as Jarod puts it - fellow warriors of the classroom), you guys are awesome and deserve to be pampered and honoured on this day! Do not let the fire within burn down and continue to strive for your deserving learners ;)

Ok, gona detour a bit... I am currently rather into K-Pop... Lol... It has been awhile really, but because my internet connection is like damn good here (I no longer have to stream youtube videos but just press play and watch), I have become quite an updated person when it comes to the K-Pop scene... I have watched more recent dramas and game shows than my fellow Korean peers in New Zealand... *possessed by vainity and pride*

My recent fav Korean drama would have to be Shining Inheritance!

Check it out on my new best friend - www.v.youku.com ~

And what do I think about the new girl group by YG? Fresh, interesting... but a little over the top.. love the song, not the concept, and definitely feel that they shouldn't ride on Big Bang's popularity...

and one would wonder could they stop being so fickle minded and decide on one concept???!!!

Oh... and our town hall was magically transformed for a few nights due to Telco's XT advertising~

boring ol' look

transformed into...

this...

Ok, enough of nonsensical blabbering... Time to watch my show..huhuhu...

Before that, a little dedication to a babe of mine whose birthday was yesterday~

Stay pretty and smart, and thanks for being a part of my life~ Hugssss

why do I always make silly faces and 'uglify' myself??? Lol...

Can't really name just one though, I'm really into comedies ;)
